Andhra Pragathi Grameena
Bank has announced vacancies for the posts of Officer (Scale-I, II) and Office
Assistant (Multipurpose) for which applications are invited from Indian
citizens who have been declared qualified in the Common Written Examination
(CWE) conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) during
September/October, 2014. The other details are mentioned below:
About the Bank: Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank, a Regional Rural Bank was
established on 01.06.2006 after amalgamating 3 RRBs (Rayalaseema Grameena Bank,
Sree Anantha Grameena Bank and Pinakini Grameena Bank, sponsored Syndicate
Bank) as a Scheduled commercial bank as per the Regional Rural Banks Act
1976. The head office is located at Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. As on
31.03.2014 Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank is having the highest networth among
all Regional Rural Banks in India. The bank received the “Best Bank”
award from the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K.Rosaiah in the year 2010 and the
“Best Bank” in the State of undivided Andhra Pradesh by the NABARD for the year
2013-2014.

1. A Graduate Degree
in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Preference
will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture,
Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science,AgriculturalEngineering,Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology,
Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy
2. Proficiency
in local language *
3. Computer knowledge
or awareness will be an added qualification

For General Banking
Officer
Degree in any
discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of
50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having
degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry,
Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture,
Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management,
Law, Economics and Accountancy.

Candidates selected for appointment to the Officer
(Scale-I,II)/Office Assistant have to execute a bond agreeing to pay the
amount to the Bank in the event of their leaving Bank’s job within a period
of two years from the date of their joining. This will be in addition to the
provisions of Regulation 10 of Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank(Officers and Employees)
Service Regulations 2010.
