Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), a central public sector undertaking under the ownership of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India is one of the largest commercial undertaking in India and a Fortune “Global 500” Company has announced Apprenticeship notification for the recruitment of Technician, Graduate and Trade Apprentices in Technical and Non -Technical disciplines for various locations in India. Online applications are invited from eligible and interested Matric passed with 2 year ITI course in respective discipline, 12^th passed, Diploma holders and Graduates, Candidates who fulfill the requisite eligibility criteria may apply online from 14^th December, 2022.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Technician Apprentice	3 years regular full time Diploma in respective discipline from a recognized Institute/University

* Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL). Candidates belonging to PwBD categories shall be given age relaxation up to 10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST) and up to 13 years for OBC-NCL candidates.

Minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General, EWS and OBC-NCL & 45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates

Selection Procedure	a.    Online Test (Online Test consists of Objective type multiple choice questions (MCQ’s) consisting of four options with one correct option. (Minimum 40% is required to qualify in Online test. 5% is relaxed for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD) b.  Candidates who qualify in Online test will be called for Document verification c.    Pre-engagement Medical Examination

IMPORTANT POINTS TO REMEBER

• Candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training in an Industry as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961/1973/1992 or having job experience of 1 year or more are NOT eligible.
• Candidates with qualification acquired through Distance Learning Mode or Part Time Mode or Correspondence mode are NOT eligible.
• Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications such as B.E or equivalent, MBA or equivalent or MCA / CA/ ICWA, LLB are NOT eligible.
• Not disclosing information regarding possession or pursuing higher qualification shall render a candidate ineligible for consideration at any stage of selection/ termination or any time during period of training.
• Candidates can apply for ANY ONE DISCIPLINE only.
• Candidates applying for more than one discipline Code will not be considered and their applications will be summarily rejected.
• Upon completion of the Apprenticeship period, the Corporation shall have NO obligation to offer employment to such apprentices NOR can an Apprentice claim right for employment on the grounds of completion of Apprenticeship
